Online Course Access

As the internet becomes increasingly available to more people in more places across Australia and around the world, course delivery methods must evolve to meet this change.

Curtin has recognised this and has developed a number of online initiatives including WebCT – the preferred online learning environment for teaching and learning at Curtin. SMEC also understands this and, in addition to WebCT, uses an alternative learning management system known as Moodle.

Another major advance in 2004 was the implementation of OASIS – a "one–stop–shop" for delivering eServices to Curtin students which is available 24/7 from anywhere in the world. Once you have logged in to OASIS using your Student ID and password, you will have access to a whole range of different services without the need to log in again to each one.
